Mass of the Presanctified Elements will be presided over by The Rev. Sylvia L. Howard, Deacon. The service begins at 8:30 A.M. on the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost. Church organist is Douglas Tucker. Others participating are scheduled as follows:

Coffee Hour Hostess: Karen Walsh
Midweek Mass is celebrated at the church every Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. The Feast of the Transfiguration--a major feast of the Church Year--will be observed on Thursday, August 5th.
"O God, who on the holy mount didst reveal to chosen witnesses thy well-beloved Son, wonderfully transfigured, in raiment white and glistening: Mercifully grant that we, being delivered from the disquietude of this world, may by faith behold the King in his beauty; who with thee, O Father, and thee, O Holy Ghost, liveth and reigneth, one God, world without end. Amen."
The Episcopal Churchwomen meet in the church undercroft on the first Tuesday of the month, starting at 4:00 P.M.
St. John's is collecting school supplies to donate to the Salvation Army for distribution to local school children. Anyone wishing to contribute items may place them in the designated crate near the north door in the sanctuary. They will be collected on August 10th.
